About Rob

Rob Ruddick is a skilled, down-to-earth physiotherapist with over twenty years of professional experience. He completed his Human Kinetics degree at UBC in 1998 and went on to complete his physiotherapy training at the University of Toronto in 2001. He is a leader in the delivery of safe, effective, evidence-based physiotherapy and the collaborative management of individuals with musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.

Post Graduate Training and Certifications

Rob is committed to his continued professional development. Major certifications include:

  • FCAMPT - Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy

  • cGIMS - Intramuscular stimulation or “dry needling”

  • AFCI - Traditional Acupuncture for musculoskeletal conditions

  • McKenzie Therapy (A - Lumbar Spine, B - Cervical and Thoracic Spine, C - Advance Lumbar Spine and Extremities: Lower Limb)

After Hours

Rob maintains his relationship with researchers and clinicians at the University of Calgary Sport Medicine Centre and the EFW Advanced Spinal Care Centre.

He is a father of two and enjoys skiing, hiking and cycling with his family and friends. He practices yoga and is an avid reader.
